How easy is it to replace the pluriel roof slider?

If you need help with your C3 Pluriel, that seems specific to the Pluriel (like the roof), ask here. Engine and Transmission problem must be asked in the relevant topic for the problem. The Pluriel shares the same Engine, Gearbox, Brakes and Transmission as the other C3 models (see above for the correct section).

No engine, gearbox or running gear questions
Think: Pluriel roof and rear window jobs
Did you know the Pluriel shares the engines, gearboxes, electrical, audio system, suspension, steering and running gear with the early C3?

Hi guys,
I've had a look but I'm unable to find the part number for a forward left roof slider can anyone help?
Also how easy would it be to replace.
Bit of background. . The roof hinge at the back broke when my wife opened the boot. The boot lid slid down pulling the roof slider back causing something to fall off. I replaced the hinge and the roof opens and closes fine but does not sit flush to the rubber seal at the front on the left hand side. She has lived with it but now we are coming to sell it I want to replace it to get maximum value. It gets very loud when driving above 40 and sometimes drips water in.
Any help would be amazing.
Cheers

This topic has some pictures of the parts for the roof, can you see the part you need in any of the pictures?

Your own pictures of the parts you need can help identify them. Its possible to attach photos to the forum using the 'Browse..' and 'Add the file(s)' options below while replying.

I don't have a part number for Y because its sold as a kit of T, U, V, W & Y number 12 in the diagram which is 8401.HV Left and the same number appears for Right.

Thanks for the information. It may be late for some but I am sure it will be in time for others.

Did you take any pictures? or would you be prepared to write up a quick guide or even just some basic instructions to help other see what is involved or take them through the steps? We are lacking some guides in the Pluriel roof section :)

It can be tricky and you can often find additional faults with the roof but some photos would be handy to help with replacing the sliders :)
