It won't be spot-on, but as missing lincs mentioned above even the weather makes a difference.

It can be inconvenient to drive to a place to measure the pressure when a tool is available for home use and very cheap. Its available in this link to a LCD Digital Tyre Pressure Guage on amazon. If the tyre doesn't need air then there is no need to drive ;)

While you are checking tyre pressures, it is also useful to check every so often the tyre tread depth by using a smart tool like this digital one or inspect the tread wear indicators (TWI) on the tyre tread.

Thank you for the reply! Tried purchasing the suggested tool but it wouldn't be shipped to Denmark. Tried another EU country where I'm gonna visit soon .. won't ship there again. I saw lots of inexpensive tool similar to the one your link highlights, but didn't know if I could trust them. Seemed like I could trust the one you suggest cos the comments for it were positive and I trust you guys in this forum. If it totally doesn't matter which one I but, then I'd go for any similar cheap tool, but if it does matter then I'd appreciate if you could provide me with another link to another similar tool I can trust.

PS
As regards the TWI, is this what I should be looking out for?
