Hi all,

Many moons down the line, got the sound sorted, all great... then....

My Stereo reset itself?!!

I lost all my settings/radio stations.

So I took ages tinkering about with the settings, got it nice again, and about a month later, it
reset itself again?!

I switched the ignition on, it says 'Set-up?' and has wiped everything.

Anybody know what's causing this?

Why has it only happened twice?!

Thanks in advance.

Sam

Hello again.

Two possible things I can think of, the memory is maintained by a constant 12 volt supply from the car's battery, if that is interrupted by disconnecting the car's battery or by a loose connection you will loose your settings. If you haven't disconnected the battery or it hasn't gone flat then a check on your radio wiring and connectors might be an idea.

The second thing I can think of is a faulty radio. Not common but it does happen.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried
