Hi friends. In my vehicle, the water spray system on the windows is reversed. When I pull the lever towards me, it sprays water on the rear window. When you turn the part at the end of the arm, it sprays onto the windshield. Is this something I can fix myself?

Hi
Do you have lexia? I think you may need this to check the switch signals.

Have you changed the com2000 unit?

First of all, sorry for my bad english.

No Lexia, sorry. A friend of mine borrowed the car and went to another city. He said there was a glass water motor malfunction and I changed it. It happened after the windshield engine was changed. I think they reversed some connections. Since my friend does not own a citroen, he did not notice this. Is there a cable entry on the washer motor that I can replace?

Thank you.
This makes sense.

The windscreen washer motor pump is the same pump as for the rear. The motor is just run in reverse for the rear and forward for the front.

The motor pump is either the wrong one, or incorrectly connected by power or water pipe. Either way, swapping the pipe connections to the motor pump should fix this.

Getting access to the motor pump is difficult, which may explain why mistakes were made.

But, you you can fix this yourself if you can get to the washer pump motor and ether replace it with the correct one or fix the wiring fault, or swap the two pipes over. You won't know which problem you have until you see the pump motor and its wiring and pipes.

You can find the Citroen C3 windscreen washer pump location in this link it serves the front and rear in a single unit.

Yes, Yes.

The white and black connections are transposed. Swap the two pipes over on the windscreen washer pump :)

I love this place. Every problem has a solution. Now let's see if I got it right. Swapping these two pipes solves my problem.? It looks a bit difficult, but I can get there from behind the hood.
