Picasso unlocks itself when I pull the door handle

When I lock my c3 Picasso all the doors lock, but when I go back to the car, even without the keys on or near me and pull the door handle the car unlocks

Do you get a beep from the car when you lock it?

No beep but the locks lock and the lights flash and it looks locked until you pull the drivers door handle, it’s locked if yo try any other handles but pull the drivers one and central locking opens

Probably a faulty door solenoid. They usually fail with a buzzing, but if it doesn't lock and the others do, I would suspect the solenoid.

The early models, at least do beep when you try to lock them without closing all doors. Its a warning that the locking was unsuccessful.

I find it usually when I am too quick to lock the doors before the passenger has fully alighted and didn't have the chance to fully close the passenger door. But other times it's the boot not shut properly.
