I knocked the door mirror off the car the glass is ok I have removed the mirror from the door but I hit the mirror so hard I have broken the 2 little pillars which hold the mirror on they seem to be flexible could I fix them with epoxy resin

Although epoxy is usually really good, it doesn't work so well with the mirror plastics.
Give it a go, by all means, what have you got to loose other than a tube of araldite?
But it may just be much easier to get another door mirror (from here) and fit that with no mess

You can add an avatar to your account - Avatar or change your vehicle details - Car Bio or even add a signature to your posts - Signature. But this is not all you can do in the User Control Panel

Thanks for your reply I have had a look at the door mirror and as I have a workshop manual am I right in thinking that I will have to remove the quarter light to fit another mirror,will you let me know

no need to remove any glass of the quarter light , the black plastic interior panel just pops off.
if you have electrics in the mirror, you also need to remove the door card.

Hi Arfur,it's me again about the door mirror I have tried to get the outside rubber off the door because that it where the broken pieces are will you please explain how to bet it off
,I phoned the company you suggested and they said that they only sold the mirror

There are instructions to Replace the 2002-2009 Citroen C3 door mirrors - here.
If you have broken more than just the mirror assembly then you will need more parts than just the mirror and attaching some pictures of what you have broken and what you are attempting to replace it with would be helpful for everyone to see what you are facing.
