Hi Everyone, i have been trolling the web looking for info about Hertz speakers for the front doors, Managed to get the hertz deici tweeters into the dash and they are so good i wanted to try to go hertz all around.I have the pioneers at present in the front doors because they are shallow enough to get around the problem with clearance.
Just wondering if anyone has managed to fit hertz. Any help would be appreciated.

I would grab the specs on sizes PDF for the pioneers you have and contact hertz for advice or just the specs of the hertz speakers (here)that could be suitable. You can compare sizes and find a hertz that fits where the pioneer already does.

Hi, thanks for that, tried all that, the Pioneers are slim fit whereas the hertz are all around 52mm mounting depth so i think it maybe a non starter.
Just as well i read some posts here as i realised it's the 17cm speakers in the front and the 13cm in the rear doh!!! just as well i never ordered anything. The 13cm ones are not an issue in the rear, plenty of clearance.

Thank you, the link to hertz specs you posted i hadn't seen. Thats pretty comprehensive. Judging by the depth on the sheet they may well fit. thanks again

No problem. You are welcome to add some photos of the install in progress, part numbers for the ones that do fit and anything else you have found on the way

Also put some Hertz DT24 3 tweeters in the dash. Carefully eased the originals away from the housing and stuck the hertz onto the original houusing and simply locked them back into the grille location, really was a simple job, obviously i had to crimp on new terminals to connect the new tweeters but nothing hard about that.LesPes wrote: ↑Tue Jun 26, 2018 6:41 pm HERTZ DIECI DCX130.3 5.25" 13CM 80W WATT 2 WAY COAXIAL

The rear speakers arrived today, they are in and i have to say they are the dogs danglies.
Seriously peeps get on these hertz speakers The Deici series are a lot of quality for a relatively small layout.
I would love to hear their higher end stuff but for my little c3 thats a bit extreme.

Thanks for all the information about the speakers you fitted. It's good to know which ones fit the later models and that they sound good too
