Windscreen washers not working, rear working.

Had this problem on C3 2015 model but probably relevant to other Citroens and Peugots.
Windscreen washers not working but rear screen was. No pump noise when trying them either only when rear one used.
There is a single pump serving front and rear so obviously not the fuse.
There is a valve flap in the motor that can stick or get gunked up.
You need to blow air via tube feeding front washers into bottle. Under bonnet on offside in corner near bulkhead you can see black tube into a connector where it the goes off to washer jets. Pull off lower tube, this comes up from washer bottle down below.
Get an air line or compressor and send a jet of air down tube. This may not work straight away.
You can also blow hard until you hear bubbles in the washer bottle, make sure water level is at least half way. Do this 3 or 4 times.
Probably a good idea to flush out bottle by sticking a hosepipe in top until it overflows. This should clear out any gunk swimming about.
Hopefully this should sort problem and save garage bill.
I dread to think what a garage would have clocked up. At the very least I suspect they would charge for a new motor and an hour or two labour.
