Further to my post on intermitent warning beeps for no good reason. My line of thinking was that the brake light switch was spooking the BSI as they are close to each other. Having had a rash of the beeps i have insulated brake light switch with baking foil, result, end of this problem.(At least this week).Got to be of interest to all sufferers.
Given my previous post regarding the BSI this confirms that electrics are a first point to look for any problems.

Replying to my own post.The dreaded beebs still continued. Found to be the female conectors in the wiring plug to rear lights are able to move about causing a week conection hence the warning. Further when replacing light fitting to car body the cables can catch against the body making the above connectors lose a sound connection
For the first time have just done a couple of runs in peace, no beebs.

Thank you for the information. Yes, bad electrical connectors seem to be a big problem for the C3 :cry:
