Tyre Pressures

The Citroen C3 Tyre Pressures can be found in on the data plate on the near side door shut by the hinges. Each model of Citroen C3 had the option for different tyre sizes, this leads to different tyre pressures required for the C3 tyres.






This is an example tyre pressure data plate that shows where you can find the correct tyre pressure for the exact model of Citroen C3 you have.


Note the two sets of tyre pressures showing for both front and rear tyres. These addition tyre pressures are optional to improve road holding when carrying heavy loads. 4 adults an a boot full of luggage would constituent a heavy load for the C3.


The tyre pressure show are for 'cold tyres'. These are tyres that have not been driven very far, or very fast before checking. The tyre pressure will change as the tyre warms up. It is best to check your tyre pressures before driving the car any great distance to get a true cold tyre reading.

Later models of the Citroen C3 tyre pressure label is in a more accessible position in the door shut.

It shows the Citroen C3 tyre pressures in both Bar and <kPa>

The system is the same as the early cars from 2002 in that different models of the later Citroen C3 had options for different wheel and tyre fitting combinations. The Tyre pressure data plate shows what pressure to use for the tyres for the tyres fitted at the factory.


The correct tyres sizes and tyre pressures for the later model Citroen C3 are shown on the sticker show above.


Two sets of pressures are shown for normal weight loading and heavy weight loading. The correct tyre pressure is adjusted depending on the load being carried. Heavy loads are indicated by the large weight symbol in the car icon and lighter loads a depicted with the smaller weight symbol in the car icon.
