There is some information out there but its quite well hidden. Luckily the information for the early C3 often also covers the facelift and for engines can even flow into much later models.

The C3 shares many parts, like the gearbox - both auto and manuals with many other Citroen and Peugeot (like the 1007 and even, with early cars, the 206) but this also includes suspension and steering found across the PSA range over the years.
