Seat Height Adjustment on the Citroen C3 is achieved by using the horizontal lever on the side of the seat, as shown in the picture below.

With no weight on the seat, raising the lever will quickly and quite suddenly raise the height of the seat.
To lower the seat, sit on it and lift the lever, your weight should push the seat down, but if not, you may need a heavier person.
Its quite difficult to raise the seat while sat on it unless you take some of your weight on to your feet while lifting the lever, I find its easier to raise the seat while out of the car, then lower it while sat on the seat.

The is also an adjustment for angle or rake, to recline the seat, and the lever for this is a vertical lever on the side of the seat, as seen in the photo below.

Moving the tip of the lever to the rear of the car with no weight resting on the back of the seat will cause the seat back to move quickly to the vertical position. Putting weight on the rear of the seat (by leaning back) and moving the tip of the lever to the rear of the car will allow the seat back to recline to a near horizontal position.

Hi, I find that the easiest way to lower the seat height is by pushing back with your feet, as the seat goes back as it lowers , To raise it, lift the lever and rock yourself forward, perhaps pulling gently on the steering wheel.
I am 6 ft and find the seat as low as I need at the top setting. Can't imagine wanting it lower.
