PARK SHUNT. Located in the cabin fusebox that usually hinges down. If you can't see the fuse box, you need to look harder.
The Park Shunt looks like a fuse, but it is a non-fused link. Think of it as a switch, moving the shunt from one position to the other with operate the switch, move it back and it resets the switch.
The park shunt is designed to help reserve the battery if the car is left in long-term storage and is operated by removing the shunt and replacing it in the other hole. You will loose quite a few features - like starting when the shunt is in its park position.
If you have come back to the car after it has been in storage, and it turns over but doesn't start - check the park shunt.
This is the park shunt on a 2002 to 2006 model C3
and this is the park shunt on a 2006 C3 style fusebox also seen in the Picasso
Can't find the fuseboxes of the C3 ? they are all listed in these topics
Park Shunt, unlabelled 'fuse' in fusebox.
