P0704 can read as 'Clutch Switch Input Circuit Malfunction'.

This is a generic code

The clutch switch is found in the cabin area.

Not a very accessible place up in the pedal bar above the clutch pedal

A simple switch can be easily checked for mechanical activation by the clutch pedal.

Then an ohms test on the switch to prove it switches open and closed circuit.

Power for the switch is provided by the BSM - engine bay fuse box, (F4, 10A).

The switch signals to the Engine ECU.

The error relates to not just the actual switch, but also the plug/socket and the associated wiring. It is often best to start testing at the switch because this is more likely to be the point of failure than any other part of the system that is covered by P0704.

There are further pictures of the clutch switch in the Citroen C3 Clutch switch topic.

Typically the Clutch control signal is use for the cruise control programming in the engine ECU.
