You should replace the fuse that has blown with the same rating as fitted at the factory. This guide may differ in ratings than is fitted to your car as different equipment fitted may need a different rating fuse, it's just to point you in the right direction.

The numbers across the top, 1 to 8 are the fuse location number and their function and rating are listed below.

1. Engine Cooling (50A)
2. ABS (30A)
3. ABS (30A)
4. BSI (70A)
5. BSI (70A)
6. Heated Seats (20A)
7. Ignition Switch (30A)
8. Power Steering (70A)

Does any one know what each "hidden" fuse is for....we recently bought a Pluriel knowing the roof hinge needed replacing, however we then found that the roof will not function at all (there is no power to the roof motor) Our radio also does not work, the fuses relating to the radio under dash are all fine. We did read that if the car has ever been jump started the roof and radio could stop functioning, could this be a fuse in the "hidden" box. The only thing I am sure of is that the roof has got to have a fuse somewhere

C3 Haynes manual (available here) suggests Maxi Fuse (MF) circuits are

MF1 Engine Cooling
MF2 ABS
MF3 ABS
MF4 BSI
MF5 BSI
MF6 Heated Seats
MF7 Ignition Switch
MF8 EPAS

Most C3s don't have heated seats and that is MF6

The maxi fuse is on the left (only found in the MAXI fuse box) and a comparison 'standard size' fuse (usually in the BSI fuse box) with a mini fuse, usually found in the engine bay BSM fuse box.
