The manual says to fit a new Battery: CR0523 of 3V in the plip (remote central locking key).

This is an obscure battery code and a direct replacement is this CR1620 Energizer cell (click here)

To replace the battery, open the 'plip' with a coin and fit a new battery, then you can reset the message 'Plip Battery Spent' by putting the key in the ignition, turn the ignition (position 2) and then immediately press and hold the lock button (A) for up to 10 seconds.
