internal headlight wiring (for LED lights)

Citroen C3 internal headlight wiring on 2002

On the headlight marked 'L' on its body the plug is this way up,
On the headlight body marked 'R' the plug is upside down but the numbering is exactly as above.

1 White wire for the indicator (PY21W) +ve connection
2 Motor connection
3 Blue wire for the H7 dipped beam -ve connection
4 Black wire, common -ve (except H7)
5 Brown wire for the H7 dipped beam +ve
6 Red wire is +ve to the sidelight W5W
8 No Pin
9 Motor connection

When fitting LED lights, it is important to connect the +VE and -VE connections correctly or the LED won't light. The polarity may be marked on the LED plug body or indicated by red (+ve) and black (-ve) wire colours and the information above will help to get the LED headlight lamps connected correctly.
