The C3 indicators will flash fast when one of the indicator lamp is blown on that side. There are two main indicator lamps (one at the front, the other at the rear) and a side repeater indicator.

Replacement indicator lamps are readily available for the Citroen C3 but it is important to use the correct one for it to fit and show the right colour.

The front and rear indicator lamps are called PY21W or BAU15S (here on Amazon)

These have offset pins on the side and an amber coloured glass which differs from other similar lamps that have evenly spaced pins or no amber tint.

There is also the side repeater indicator lamp that usually doesn't need replacement, but if it does then you can find the correct lamp here, called the 501 amber wedge.

To access the front indicators, flip down the metal retaining clip and remove the headlamp cover from the back of the headlight. The indicator bulb holder needs a quarter of a turn to release.

To access the rear indicators on the C3, you need to remove the rear cluster from the car by removing two bolts, one of which is hidden by a plastic cap. The lamp carrier can then be separated from the rear lamp cluster lens and the indicator lamp easily replaced.

The side repeater indicator housing clips in and can be slid to one side with a pull towards yourself to release the spring clip and then removed from the car to access the wedge indicator lamp inside the assembly. The wedge indicator bulb is pulled out and pushed in to replace.

If you have faulty indicators and replacing the lamps make no difference, have a look at Indicator not working. New lamp makes no difference. and Multiple light system faults displaying on dashboard - FIX
