My BSI update went much as described above. As expected I had to re bind my key, etc.
However, the faults that appeared after have rendered my instŕument panel / dash a brick. Permanent fault No communication with instrument panel!! Airbag, stereo and multifunction faults wont clear. I have no fuel, speedo, coolant or lights, etc showing on my dash. Although I can actuate them through the BSI actuator function!?
The dash is also permanently on. Displaying several fault lights and flashing a low fuel light.
Clearly a software mismatch but there is no downloadable instrument panel software.

Ideas, please?

Go into the new BSI settings and change the setting for the display etc connected. The new default value is incorrect and you just need to change it to one of the others through trial and error or from your recorded settings you took before updating.
You can add an avatar to your account - Avatar or change your vehicle details - Car Bio or even add a signature to your posts - Signature. But this is not all you can do in the User Control Panel :)
