Citroen C3 2007 to 2010 models (facelift version of the old shape C3) engine bay fuse box (BSM) layout.

2007 to 2010 engine bay fusebox ratings and descriptions.

Fuse number, fuse rating, circuit protected description

F1 20A Diesel water sensor
F2 15A Horn
F3 10A Screen wash
F4 20A Headlight wash
F5 15A Fuel pump
F6 10A Power steering
F7 10A Coolant level sensor
F8 25A Starter motor
F9 10A ABS ECU
F10 30A Engine control actuators including ignition, O2 sensor, injectors, purge.
F11 40A Air blower
F12 30A Wipers
F14 30A Diesel fuel heater or Petrol air pump
F15 10A Passenger side main beam
F16 10A Driver side main beam
F17 15A Passenger dipped headlight
F18 15A Driver side dipped headlight

The fuse numbers are embossed on the plastic moulding of the fusebox, you can also see the fuse numbers and ratings in the diagram above.

While it is possible to inspect the wire in the bladed fuses used on the Citroen C3 to check the status of the fuse, this method is not 100% reliable :cry:

A fuse that looks blown is blown, but a fuse that looks intact can actually be blown :o or corroded, damaged or just faulty :shock:

Blown = open circuit and this means not working.

Intact = conductor is continuous and the fuse is working.

A cheap tool like this one on Amazon will do the job of fuse testing for you so you don't need to rely on visual inspections.

The fuse tester for the Citroen C3, C3 Picasso and the C3 Pluriel is easy to use and can be found on eBay.co.uk - Fuse Tester (click here) ;) and don't get caught-out with a good looking fuse that is actually a bad one :cry:
