The BSI (fuse box) in the glove box is not obviously visible and requires some instructions to follow to gain access.
The fuse box hinges down from under the glovebox, as seen in this picture taken from the passenger footwell of a right hand drive car.

The row of empty fuse holders (bar one) found in the glove box is very misleading and the lone fuse will probably protect one of the electric windows at the front of the car.
