The EP6C and EP3 engine found in the A51 with the 1.6 VTi and 1.4 VTi (16v) engine is fitted with an Oil Breather Re-Heat Resistor (1273)

The oil heater is accessed from under the car as the picture shows.

The simple circuit diagram shows the heater (1273) is controlled by the engine ECU (1320)
