There is an audible signal from the car and a message about the particle filter’s additive level being too low showing on the screen.

This pictogram combined with the message 'Particle filter additive too low' refers to the level of additive in the tank being low and will need to be replenished soon. The amount of additive use varies with the style of driving and the types of journeys the Citroen C3 makes.

You may also or instead see the spanner icon, and the message 'particle filter additive level is too low.' on the screen. This is the same warning, that the diesel fuel additive is running low and needs refilling soon.

The reservoir of diesel fuel additive must be topped up without delay by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.
