This is the worst car I have ever owned. I paid £3,500 for it, or ten years motoring at £350/car which was my usual mode of transport. It was extremely low mileage, 33k for a 7 year old vehicle, with a full Citroen service history.
I have already fitted a replacement engine after the original mysteriously blew up, and now with a catalogue of systems failures it has once again left me without a vehicle to drive. Wheel bearing failure, heater failure, windscreen wiper failure and list of fault codes as long as my arm.
Going on my £350/year basis, I have had £1150 of use from it in 3 years, I have spent more than that in repairs, so basically its cost me £3500 to save £600 in road tax and I still don't have a car worth driving. Anybody reading this, thinking about buying one, without the luxury of a warranty, don't, save your money and buy Japanese, any make will do.

thanks for reading.

To be fair, most car manufacturers have produced Friday afternoon cars. Repairs on older cars become less viable as the complexity and cost of parts increases, in many cases way beyond what's viable for the car. Top of the range and luxury makers are no better save for the owners of more valuable cars seemingly being more willing to spend the cash for repairs. I know a guy with an Aston Martin who has just had a £4,500 garage bill for service and repairs on a three year old car, I think he's soft in the head!!
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried
