Kimi was bought four years ago as a new car and carried me for 118,500 miles so far. She's a 1.4HDi VTR+ and I can honestly say that she's met all the expectations I had.
Fuel economy ranges from 60 to 72 MPG, (driving on the cruise control as often as possible). Tyres last about 37.5k and servicing costs have been low so far. Only one set of brake pads needed. I drive as sympathetically as I can but certainly don't hang around in case you're wondering

Problems she's given me:
1) Electrical: (all related to wipers according to the Citroen dealer, Perry's), resulting in a quote for £3k (

2) Body panels: Due to a bit of inadvertent rallycross in the snows a few years ago, I hit a deep pothole, (about 3 feet). £2k repair bill from Citroen and a patch up by Bolam Crash Repairs in Leighton Buzzard set me back less than £200.
3) Accident: Young chap turning against the traffic went for a gap and found... Kimi, (pictures to follow). I realised what was going to happen and braced myself but the impact protection worked really well! Just gone in for repairs to DF Crash Repair in Milton Keynes so she'll be back with me in about a week or so.
The car has been that good we bought a second identical model when my wife's Clio gave up the ghost, she's a happy lady with 'her' C3.
Now Kimi's getting on a bit, I'll start doing my own small repairs and let you know what happens but I can honestly say it was money well spent and I look forward to seeing 200k on the clock in a few years...
Regards,
Jim.
