hi everyone
I was out filling up my car ready to go on a family day trip. The petrol station was about 10 minutes away from my home, the touch screen was working fine. I stopped to fill it up, the car auto locked when I went inside to pay, then when I came back out to turn on the engine and leave, the touchscreen wouldn't come back on. My phone won't connect to it, theres nothing, just black screen. Has anyone else experienced this? I've been driving for about 30 minutes now and its still not turning on.
Touch screen has gone blank

The only thing I can suggest is to reset the system by disconnecting the car battery, leaving it a minute and reconnecting it.
If that fails, I don't thing there is much you could do for it.

Mine does this occasionally, mine also refuses to start if i disconnect and reconnect battery twice. You have to unlock it. Lock it via remote and walk away for 10 minutes. come back and it all works as it should.

This happened to me yesterday morning. Would not turn on when i got into car to go to work. Travelled to work, tried stopping and starting a couple of times but would not come on. Went into work, came back to car later that day, switched on and radio working as if nothing had happened. I too would like some kind of explanation as to why this happens.

My guess would be the firmware locking up. There are updates available to iron out the bugs and add new ones

Continually starting and stopping the engine won't necessarily restart the display computer, but allowing the BSI to sleep may well be enough.
The test is to disconnect the car battery and reconnect it, that proves a firmware lockup because switch it off and on again fixed it.

Are these updates something you can do yourself or does Citroen have to do it?
