Just picked up a nice little low mileage 87K C3 year 2003 automatic 1.4 petrol for commuting in and out of London of which the stock CD radio does not work? I can hear a very slight buzz but pressing the power button or any other buttons does nothing?

I read the diagnostic codes and it came back with 'No communication with Radio Permanent Fault' of which I could not clear

I checked the fuses and they looked fine, before I go buy an aftermarket one, can I check anything?

P.S Can you just install an aftermarket radio?

Thanks

Hi

You can fit an aftermarket, just swap the ISO Plug power pins 4 and 7 over or get the ISO lead that does the same (usually red and yellow on 4 & 7).
