Source Not selecting CD player

Audio, ICE, Speakers, Head Unit, CD, CD Multi changer. If you have a question about any Citroen C3 related Audio, then this is the place.

Please indicate if there is a Citroen CD multi-changer, drawer or cubby under the CD/Radio, if there is the Navigation unit, CD or Radio options.

I have a 2010 1.4 VTR+ C3
literally picked it up yesterday, put a cd in and all was fine. It was playing, no issues.
Put the radio on for a bit then wanted to go back to the CD player and now when i use source to select the cd player it will not let me and the CD is now inside and will not eject.
I'm confused as to what has happened? it's like the CD player isnt there anymore! it's the factory fitted CD player too .

It doesn't sound good. I would imagine the CD player has packed up.
