Can you buy a lead to play music from your phone.
I bought a lead for my other car. It plugged into the cd multi changer socket on the back of the head unit. I have a clarion rd3?
Cheers

Hello C3 37
I have tried a similar thing to you by adding a aux input lead into the CD autochanger socket and even with lexia tool I couldn't get it to work

So what I used in the end was sort of FM transmitter from eBay and it's still working perfectly over the years

Mine is still going strong (but in red to match the car).
Does it power up?
Does you cigarette lighter socket work?
Did you read and understand the instructions?
Is it the right one for your phone? (I don't know what phone you have, but any of them with a headphone jack will work).

No, you just use the USB or MicroSD or the jack for aux in.
My music is on a microSD and it plays off that, but USB is the same.
The jack is more like an aux in. You need the volume up on your phone if you use the aux in jack lead and control is from the phone.
I hard wired mine in and hid the box in the top locker so it looks better, but it should just work straight off the cigarette lighter socket.
