Hi,
I would like to retro fit a factory fitted CD Player/Radio to my C3 Desire (54) at the moment there is a cheap panasonic radio installed. If I buy second hand unit online (i.e. Ebay) will I need to have a code and also is there any other issue that could happen?
Cheers,
Richard

To get the cheapo panasonic to work the installer had to make some wiring changes (ISO power plug pins 4 and 7 swapped). This sets the memory and fixes the central locking problems.
You will need to code the stereo to the car using the dealer tool: Lexia. If you don't successfully achieve this expect some beeping through the car speakers. But you may find the seller has done some work to the stereo to avoid this problem.
It may just be easier to fit another aftermarket stereo?
