Hello all,
I realise this is an old thread but I too am also trying to fit the same radio to the same car using the same adapters. I'm reading through the thread and I have it set up as advised (pins 4 and 7 swapped). However I am hesitant as when I tried this a few days ago I "wiped" the memory from my ECU and had to pay to get it sorted. I checked the adapter where I had changed the bullets and they weren't very tight at all. Could that be what caused the issue? I'm only asking because I don't want a repeat of my car refusing to start (I've made sure they are nice and tight now). I'd also like to know if the radio will switch off with the car if I do decide to try this again as the first time I tried it wasn't doing it (but again, this may have been down to loose bullets). Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Well, not really. It was tested and didn't work on high volume so you were advised to use plan A which is run fly leads to a 12v supply and not the BSI.

You may be better off getting a professional to fit it. Its going to get very expensive if you keep making mistakes or do any damage.
