Hi All,
Lately the entire radio unit has been beeping (mainly after the snow day last week) and hasn't worked properly since.

It is now discharging as the panel is only lighting up on the right side. It is also doing a long beep noise after trying to play a CD which it doesn't recognise.

Please help! It's driving me crazy.

Thanks in advance

Hi robrao91, The stereo is not easily repaired and its often better to just replace the whole thing. You have several faults and it sounds like snowy day has done for it.

A cheap or more expensive radio will fit but you will need to be aware that an extra adaptor or a small change to the wiring will be needed by swapping the wires over on pin 4 and pin 7 of the power iso plug. You can get leads that will do this for you or you can adapt the new lead that comes with your new radio. It all depends on what you are going to replace the broken radio with.

If you have stalk controls and wish to keep these functional use a connect 2 adaptor like this to do that job but it also needs a compatible stereo that can accept stalk control inputs.

Use these C3 radio removal keys (from Amazon) to get the old one out.
