Radio reboots itself

The radio in my 2016 c3 has just started to reboot itself. Some days it's very frequent and other days not so. It reboots then I hear a clicking under the passenger side dash.

There are many threads on 4 different Citroen forums concerning touchscreens rebooting. All of them are 2016 cars, and there are several theories. One is that it only occurs with the DAB radio tuned to BBC stations, some claim it concerns the use of Bluetooth and the Track and Trace App.

Unfortunately for my other reboots on any DAB or FM stations and I've tried with no phones connected.
It's only just started after me owning the car for the past two years.

There is a post on a different Citroen site that agents are aware, it needs a software update not covered by warranty (2016 cars would not have a warranty, I don't know if this applies if have extended warranty) at a cost of ~£80.
