Had my C3 about 4 weeks now and have noticed the reception is very poor, crackling on local stations, radio 1 etc in places none of my previous cars have had reception issues.

I have removed the set and checked the co axial connection to the back of the set,it's fine and nice and tight.
The aerial on the roof is on good condition too.

Is there an issue/fix for this on these models?

Hello fraz101

It's the first time I've heard of poor radio reception so I'd say it's not a common issue.

Do you have the original radio or an aftermarket replacement?

Not very helpful I know, but at this stage I can only say it could be either something on the car or the radio itself.

Would you have access to another radio which you could temporarily swap with yours?
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried
