Hello, I've bought an aftermarket unit from ebay to swap out the current radio on our 2006 Pluriel. On pulling out the raido I've discovered some sort of plastic ariel connecting mechanism. I'm not sure how to disassemble or if I just cut the end off an fix a new one ? Does it come off ?. Anyone got ideas ?

The new one is a regular ariel connector.

Thank you

Jaspr

Hello Jason

You found the answer. Don't dut it off :D

The Pluriel and later C3 models use the fakra connector in place of the old DIN connector.

You can buy adaptors to convert the Pluriel aerial connector to the new style plug on ebay if there is no local halfords.

I am sure the question will come up again and again as the old Pluriel radios need to be replaced and the odd C3 pluriel aerial connector question will get asked.
