Hi all - me again.

I got my stereo, it came with a block and loadsa wires. I connected this block to my stereo, then I connected the other end to my steering interface thingy block of wires.

Then I connected the patch lead block into this steering interface block. Sound ok so far?

My next question is .... what do I do with the other 2 connections of the patch lead?

It has a jack, which I have been told not to bother connecting as my steering column has no audio controls there at all.

So all that remains is a small red wire with a strange connection on the end.

Any idea what I do with this?

thanks

Yes, exactly that. This lead is to connect the interface to the remote jack on your radio, as you don't have remote audio controls there's no point fitting the lead, it only going to be extra wires to hide inside the dash.
