Hi the car had fitted an aftermarket stereo when i bought it and i quickly installed my own aftermarket stereo again.
here is a link to the aftermarket stereo i have (some cheap chinese brand they don't sell it in Norway any more)
https://www.teknikmagasinet.fi/tuoteva ... oom-av3000

So with the old and the new aftermarket stereo the buttons on the steering wheel doesnt work and i have to manually turn of the stereo after i turn of the ignition.

If i understood my research correctly i need an adapter.

Hello AnRaIbLD

The adaptor you show may help but won't get all the functions back.

To do that you will need an adaptor similar to this one:-

Link to ebay.co.uk

This will sort out the switching on and off.

To get the steering wheel buttons working the adaptor includes a universal patch lead. This may or may not work with your radio. If the radio has a remote connector you may need to do some research or experimenting and there's no guarantee it will work.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried
