Good point. None of the diagrams I have show an aerial amp powered from the radio, on our 2004 there isn't a wire in the Citroen radio connector corresponding to the position on the ISO adaptor I used but ... if there's a chance that this wire might need to be powered then better to connect it.
I think samueldog is using a Connects2 adaptor. I have a spare one at home so I can check if the remote wire is actually connected through the Connects2 harness. From memory I think is was, but when I was having problems with power drain I cut the wire in case it was connecting to anything 'non-standard' in the Citroen wiring. The radio works fine without it on ours.
