Hi all -
I am installing a new stereo and subwoofer.
The subwoofer is nearly in - just need a new wrench for final connecting.
I just tried the stereo, it is connected using the kit with the stereo, and a connects 2 adapter connecting to the original cables.
I turned on the power - nothing happened. stereo was dead.
So I disconnected the connects 2 adapter, and the stereo came to life!
But it didn't want to shut down again - the off button was ineffective and the stereo seemed to be on demo mode.
Any ideas?
This is the stalk adapter I am using:

Perhaps I am fitting it wrong.
Any instructions how it should go together?
Thanks

Ah - I was advised not to bother with the patch lead - but I fitted it and now it seems to work!
