CD reset button??

Hi my step-mum has just bought a 2003 C3 and loves it.
Its fitted with the original in dash CD player but when she puts a CD in, it only goes in 3/4 of the way.
I've had CD's jam in players before and i know some makes have a reset button or a series of buttons to press to reset the unit.
Is there a way of resetting the CD mechanism on the C3?

Alternatively i have a Kenwood CD radio that she she can have.
Is a 2003 C3 multiplex?
Will i need a wiring adapter?
Will i encounter the aftermarket CD player issues that i have read about on this forum?

Any advice gratefully appreciated.

The C3 'Navigation and Radio' manual makes no mention of a reset for the CD player and I am unaware of a secret service mode.

As for the aftermarket radio fitting, the answer is YES, you will find the unit doesn't switch off properly/memory loss/flat battery/eco mode/central locking not working.

Unless
You use a wiring adaptor to sort out the power and backup wiring. (Switch pins 4 and 7 over in the ISO plug)

You can remove the C3 Clarion CD with these tools (amazon).
