I bought my 2011 C3 VTR+ last month and its been great... until this evening. Had phone connected to bluetooth, radio was on and working fine. I then made a phone call and through the bluetooth and there was no sound at all so I disconnected and used it manually (whilst parked!)
Since then the radio hasnt been working. The display is on, and showing Radio 1 and whatever is playing but there is no sound and none of the buttons on the radio work apart form the menu button. I disconnected and reconnect phone, but nothing is wokring.
I made a phone call while connected and then swapped to my phones speaker which then made the radio audio come back on again but yet again it wouldnt change station and no buttons were working.

When i turned the engine off the radio display stayed on, and when i turned engine back on again, same problem, no audio.
Can anyone help?

There was a clicking sound coming from the glove compartment every 10 seconds or so when i was driving.
I am not at all car minded so and this is my first car so laymans terms please :)

I would disconnect the car battery for 10 minutes or so, then reconnect and see what happens. This should allow the various computers to reset and hopefully that will clear it. If that doesn't clear it, I would think you will need to take the car to someone who can do some testing and checks on it (like a Citroen dealer or auto electrician).

Follow the instructions for disconnection and reconnecting the cars battery in the link below

Thanks C3Car!!

I went to check the fuse, pulled it out and out it back in again and it seems to have fixed the problem! I think it may have been loose possibly.

Anyway hopefully that will be it now, if not I will try the battery disconnect next.
