Hi all,

I am planning on changing the standard radio in my C3 (2006, 56 reg) for an aftermarket unit.
The one I'm aiming for is the Kenwood KMM-504DAB.
https://www.halfords.com/technology/car- ... dab-stereo

I am aware that I need a number of additional items to make it work with this stereo:
- Harness Adaptor PC2-86-4
- Antenna Adaptor PC5-137
- One of the Connect2 thingies to make the stalk work (not sure which).
- Radio removal tools

I just would like some clarification on what else is needed to keep all/most functionality of the stalk and other screen.
Also, what is the easiest way to get DAB functionality? (Read something about an adapter to power up the factory antenna)

Any help will be very much appreciated. ;)
Also am happy to provide more info if required. :)

Thanks in advance,
Marc

This one (connects 2 Citroen C3) here will do what you want to stalk controls but it may not be suitable if you have factory fitted reverse sensors.

The factory aerial may need a 12v supply but you may be fitting a different aerial for DAB anyway.

You may also need a DAB antenna, look at the installation instructions for the radio to see what it needs - it may not need anything extra but worth checking to save a return visit to the shop.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried

Thanks for the quick replies guys.
I have not bought any of the items yet as I'm waiting for the next pay day

Just got one more question for now:
With regards to the wiring, will the connects2 harness replace the need for the PC2-86-4?

From the Halfords link you gave, its not possible to see what leads come with the Kenwood KMM-504DAB Stereo and therefore what (if any) conversion will be required.

Better to have too many leads than not enough ;)

That is true, and it's only around £5-10 anyway I believe :)
