Hi,
Thanks in advance,
I have a 2018 Puretech Flair, his name is Duncan. Love him but, the sound isnt as nice as id like. so i thought i would add a sub.
Im sure i could figure it all out if i tried and searched long and hard enough, but as the old adage goes: Measure twice, cut once.
So as im going to be cutting and splicing, y question would be, has anyone done this before?
I have a sub and amp awaiting installation, ive removed the head unit and am confronted with some connectors ive never seen. can anyone identify or give pinout guides?
Cheers.

Hello Ruxticon and Duncan
Have a word with the people at connects2.com ad see if they have a T harness for your vehicle.
The T harness will fit your existing stereo, take a tee to the amp etc and then connect to the C3 speaker wires with a factory plug.
You shouldn't need to cut or join into any of the Citroen wiring, just connect the amp/sub to the T harness.
This keeps the reversal process simple.
My advice is to avoid cutting ans splicing.

Thanks for that, I checked. Nope. They don’t do the ones for pure tech. Unless people know if the air Ross would fit, but with 600 miles a week. I’m pretty sure Duncan will be driven into the ground. Obviously well looked after. But I don’t think he is going to have any resale value in the future.

It wouldn't be a problem to trigger the amp from just the ignition Live if that is accessible, or pick the Live to the stereo (meter out the wires for a 12v that appears when the stereo is switched on).

Thanks, I can’t find my meter. To be honest. I know where it is. But it’s “the cupboard under the stairs” that’s where everything else lives that doesn’t have a home. So, as I know the cigarette lighter socket is switched. Never used, I’ll run the remote off the back of that.
Sometimes you just need a soundboard. Have to run the rca and power leads too. I wonder if there are any movable gromits at bulkhead. Or do I have to drill? Pretty sure my drill is with my meter.
