2005 Replacing radio

Audio, ICE, Speakers, Head Unit, CD, CD Multi changer. If you have a question about any Citroen C3 related Audio, then this is the place.

Hey guys.

Got a 05 C3 1.4HDI the other day to replace my slowly dying saxo, and the CD player doesn't work at all.

I want to replace it with another Citroen C3 one, probably from a breaker, but need some advice regarding the radio codes.

Will I be able to successfully swap it over without issue or am I going to need to get it re-coded? And if I do, how do I go about doing that without getting ripped off by the dealers?

The radio is coded to the BSI and you will need access to, or own a Lexia clone (ebay)
