Yes, but if you don't have audio controls, don't fit the patch lead part, the extra small lead that has a jack plug at one end. Just use the main adaptor and wiring.

Subs can be connected in either of two ways, some support both ways.

Line level/direct sub connecton/RCA

Or

Speaker level


If your chosen head unit does both, you can be sure it can drive the sub.
