I have a 2003 C3 (1.4 hdi). Previously I had issues with two different aftermarket radios and now I would like someone to help a girl out with her new radio. I currently don't have any radios in my car.
I am looking to buy a Kenwood KMM- 105RY radio. Could someone maybe try to explain what would I need to rewire/adjust so that my aftermarket radio would work?
I have the car's original plugs.

Do you have the radio steering wheel controls and wish to keep them working with the new Kenwood?

Thank you for replying so quickly! I don't have any steering wheel controls or wiper stalk buttons, all controls would be on the radio.

This patch lead will convert the Kenwood ISO to Citroen C3 ISO by allowing you to switch the RED and YELLOW leads over. This swap trick will mean that you can still unlock the car remotely in the morning with an aftermarket stereo fitted.
If you do have stalk control and want them to control the Kenwood, you will need an additional interface adaptor from Connects2 like this DS-CT002 on eBay.
You will only need one or the other, not both.

Yes, the first one is for that problemVesperaella wrote: ↑Sun Jun 18, 2023 6:26 pm Thank you so much! One of the issues I had with one of the radios I bought was that it did not want to shut down after the car was off, I had to unplug it completely. Would those kinds of issues also potentially be prevented with that adapter?
There was probably nothing with that stereo, it just needs the correct adaptor to switch the pin 4 and pin 7 (RED and YELLOW) wires over - so red to yellow and yellow to red. That will solve all those odd power on/off and remote locking BSI deep sleep mode problems you get on a 2002-2005 Citroen C3 with an aftermarket stereo.

So you could swap red and yellow or run the loose red wire to a live supply like the Cigarette lighter power inside the centre console.Installation Tip: The lose Red wire on the plug has to be connected to a separate ignition feed in your vehicle to make aftermarket head unit to power up

Run the red wire to the cigarette lighter power in the centre console if you can't get it to swap red and yellow over.
