Okay so I went to my car, turned to the ignition and let the roof and windows down (like i always do on a hot day) then i went to start the car and nothing. No sound of the engine and no ticking over sound. No lights on the dashboard and my radio (stock) doesn't appear.
Also i can't raised my windows and roof now, the headlights are the only thing to work, when I turn them on i also get the red flashing battery light.
I've checked the fuses and the battery terminals and they all look good.
What could it be and is their anyway to raise my roof without power
wont Start no ticking over

I would say you have a flat battery. The first thing I'd try is charging the battery then get it checked.
If at first you don't succeed, destroy all the evidence and pretend you never tried

You could have a problem with the ignition switch, or the solenoid on the starter.
I would suspect the solenoid and starter over the ignition switch.
There are several fuse boxes on the C3 (and pluriel), there are some hidden 'MAXI' fuses too, this link can help you find them.

Hi, I've taken out the starter and tested it and it popped out and span round like its meant to, so I'm assuming it isn't the starter. Where is the ignition switch on a C3 and how can i test if its that.
Also where is the hidden fuses, I';ve looked at those links and they don't really help much. I can find the one in the golvebox and the one under the engine bay, next to the battery cover

The ignition switch is turned and activated by the ignition key. This is what makes the circuit from the battery to the starter solenoid. Test it like any switch, use a continuity tester or a cheap multimeter - like this one on eBay.Stephen9314 wrote:Hi, I've taken out the starter and tested it and it popped out and span round like its meant to, so I'm assuming it isn't the starter. I disagree, I couldn't have put it more clearly...Stephen9314 wrote: I';ve looked at those links and they don't really help much.

and there is a diagram and a photo, there is also a write-up by P1darbs on how to actually get to the maxi fuse box in the link.myself wrote:The maxi fuse box is attached to the underside of the engine bay fuse box by the big nut and thread which also attaches the black lead.
