Hi everyone, this is my first post as ive found this site and just purchased my first Citroen !!! It is a C3 VTR+ 2011. Please could anyone help with a few questions. Firstly what does the + mean?? have i got more spec than just a VTR?? What is the correct viscosity and best oil to use. With regard to the antifreeze do i need to use the pinky/red OAT type or the old sytle blue stuff?? Lastly is there any demons lurking around on these models which i need to be aware of?? Many thanks for any help

Welcome to the forum swerve
Antifreeze is OAT, see https://citroenc3owners.com/citroen-c3-t ... t-t40.html
as for oil, have a look at the total 7000 10W-40 on https://citroenc3owners.com/diesel-c3-ti ... 3-t51.html, ignore the 9000, thats for the diesels, but the 7000 is what is prescribed for the petrols.
I don't know what the + stands for, sorry.

It doesn't mean anything. There is no VTR, its called the VTR+, a marketing ployFirstly what does the + mean??

Many thanks for replies. Just to clarify on the oil, 10w 40 semi synthetic is best?? and not fully synthetic or does it not really matter

The semi synthetic is suitable for the petrol engined ones. Fully synthetic is more expensive and not required, but if you do use fully synthetic it won't do any harm.swerve wrote:Many thanks for replies. Euro carparts have discount semi synthetic oil right now.
