unrecognized code

unrecognized code I plugged the reader in and it came back with no faults found but the light was on the dash
so took it around to a friend garage and he plugged it in to his SnapOn Modis and it came up with
unrecognized code 420H/1056 WITH NO EXPLANATION! :o :x
Any ideas what it could be?
The car runs fine so he has just reset the light and crossed fingers

Hello ATB John

An unrecognised code is one the the manufacturer of the code reader has not added to their database of error codes. This is a failing of the code reader. The only reader that I know of which can fully cover the C3 is lexia/diagbox (on ebay). You may get somewhere if the Modis box is updated though.
You can add an avatar to your account - Avatar or change your vehicle details - Car Bio or even add a signature to your posts - Signature. But this is not all you can do in the User Control Panel :)
