Having just had my timing belt changed I decided to give the car a service as it was showing it was due in a 1000 miles, fitting the air and oil filter was pretty straight forward however when I came to the plugs my 16mm plug tool was just to long and the plugs were deep down at a angle ,could anyone give me any tips on replacing as it doesn't look like I can drop them in by hand to initial nip them up.Thanks

A proper spark plug socket has a rubber insert that grips the porcelain part of the spark plug and holds it in the socket.

An old school technique is to use a short length of garden hose! Push the spark plug into the garden hose, then use the hose like a socket and extension. Once the spark plug is threaded, pull the hose out and tighten with your socket.
